'New Mammal' Seen in Borneo Woods

Over in Borneo, a small island in Southeast Asia, a conservation group who was in the process of documenting species here to prevent habitat destruction have twice captured photos from a remote camera of what they think is a new species of mammal. They feel like it is related to the family which includes the mongoose and civets. They have even shown the photos to the indigenous population and they say they have never seen this animal before.
The plan now is to set up traps to try and capture a live one to know for sure if it is indeed a new species. Go to the link below to check out the cool pics they've captured.
